So finally we’ve had some nice weather around here and April got productive for me as well. Today was really nice outside, sunny and 70s. We had a birthday party for my oldest daughter and a few good friends over. It was a fun day. Hubby is already asleep on the sofa, so I post this and go to bed.
I know, I know, I have not posted for some time again. I was working on some proposals - sketches and swatches - and I send them in late last week, so now it is a little slow time for me. This month I have finished a few projects. Below is one of them.
So I have finally finished this pattern for my line “Time4Style - Kids.” I have run out of yarn in the middle of it and got stuck for a couple weeks. This sweater is designed for boys; but make it in different colors and it could easily be a girls sweater too. See the pictures.
Published in a Book for the first time!
This month, finally the new book Vogue Knitting on the GO: Crocheted Baby Blankets was released on the first of this month and I have a pattern published in it. The blanket is the Patchwork Sampler. I called it Rose Blanket because it has roses crocheted directly onto it. You can buy this book on Vogue’s Knitting site here. It is an very easy project with basic stitches and simple finishing.
Here are some pictures of the blanket I took before sending it off to publishers.
Sexy ABOVE Knee-Highs
Couple days ago I started working on sexy above knee-highs. I am making them in Rowan’s Wool Cotton and US #3 needles. I had wanted to start these since this January when I was sketching for sock proposals for a few pair of socks for Avalon Books - Stitch Style: Socks, but never seemed to find the time. I will post pictures later this week when I make a little progress.
Now off to bed...

That is a beautiful blanket - I have made similar for friend's babies before but never blocked them and finished them as prettily as you have. Just beautiful.
Hey I see you are also going to be a first timer at the MD Sheep and Wool festival this weekend - maybe I'll see you there :) me, you, my 2 year old, and about 5000 other yarn-crazy women :)
