Lace Cardigan Details

Oh I forgot; some of you guys asked me if I can post some more pictures of the Lace Cardigan and the Long Vest. Here are couple of pictures of my Lace Cardi (the Vest is coming in following post), so you can see the details of it. I have not gotten my Spring/Summer 2008 issue of the Vogue Knitting, yet. I think it should be on the stands on April 1 for those of you who want to make it. If I have not said it already, the yarn (Blue Sky Alpaca: Alpaca & Silk) is a dream to knit with.

Happy Spring!

I love this cardigan... there's only one size though, so I'm trying to figure out how to get a larger size. I have a 38 inch bust, and I think if I use a yard with 4.5 st = 1in, I can get a bust of about 40 inches. I was hoping to get your opinion if possible. Thanks

Katie, if you want the cardigan's finished measurements be 40", your gauge should be about 18 3/4 sts per inch over the waterfall pattern. I would recommend to make the sleeves first, since they are going to be slightly wider than in the pattern. Then when you make the body and work the underarms, you can adjust the hight to fit the sleeve caps in. The 4.5 st = 1 inch (18 st = 4 inch) would give you finished measurements of about 42".

Where do I get this pattern? It is way past the issue date for Vogue...I feel like I keep going around and around trying to find this sweater pattern!
